Cafe Ulenhoef in Ostseebad Prerow

Just wonderful! After our long-standing tradition of having tea and cake in another popular café in the village was suddenly broken off by the unfriendliness of the staff, we found this gem on the edge of the village. We were treated very friendly, everything is clean, lovingly furnished and decorated and invites you to come back. Food and drinks deserve a "thumbs up" too.

Clear recommendation! Here you can feel good and pamper your palate. Both the soup and the fresh matjes with fried potatoes were very tasty. The cake was extremely tasty. Service, ambience and atmosphere fit. The price-performance ratio is okay.

Very cozy, dog-friendly, burgers fresh and tasty, cakes not sweetened and very tasty. Prices are reasonable for a fresh kitchen. Pre-order is advisable. Lovely again.

The cafe is beautifully located and everything tastes wonderful. Unfortunately, the employees are no longer as friendly as they were a few years ago. One has the impression that one's presence is bothering the ladies. Certainly it is not absolutely necessary to be friendly as the guests come anyway. A very nice café, with a great atmosphere. The opening times are sad and very inhospitable. This café has Rubetag on Saturday, yes on Saturday in a German seaside resort. Unfortunately, in Prerow you often find that the catering is closed or that the staff is very unfriendly. Why? Well, I can't find an answer.

Meanwhile our favorite café in Prerow. Delicious, homemade cakes, good coffee and good burgers in the evening. Very friendly service. However, you should reserve seats in advance.

A few days earlier we ordered a table for 5.30 p.m., 3 people. That was clear without further restrictions. When the day came we were seated, ordered drinks and food. When we wanted to enjoy our drinks and the beautiful sunny evening afterwards, the waitress came to our table, it was 7:00 p.m. to inform us that new guests were already waiting for this table. They would have a reservation for 7 p.m. and we should be ready now and have the space ready. When I asked what that was supposed to be, the answer was that 90 minutes had been scheduled for food. Since our reservation was not somehow put in between and was accepted without restrictions, we were and are simply disappointed. Since the quality of the food and drinks are quite good, I'll give it at least one star.

Unfortunately the cafe is always full, if you want to go in you should reserve. But that already shows that what is good is also in demand. We got a place and the unanimous assessment is: the cake and the coffee are all top notch! The service was also really nice, even if it really had a lot to do and unfortunately some guests do not always treat it with respect.
